Listening is always a great way to get an idea of what you want to
communicate to your spouse. What you think needs to be said may be far
away from what your spouse has on their mind.
If you have a
partner that finds it hard to communicate their feelings, try having
questions prepared that will open the door for them to address their
feelings and share their desires for where they would like to see the
conversation to go.
Some starting points could be, "How do you feel about...", or "Do you think we can...?",
A
good way to keep the communication going is to ask questions about
there statements that let them know you are interested in their
feelings.
