When you think of volunteer work or acts of charity, do you focus on things you know that need to be done, or do you look inside yourself to bring to light what you specifically have to offer.
Real charity comes from the heart. We all have concerns that touch us deeply. When we involve ourselves in these actions, we are able to achieve a much greater scale of giving.
The passion that we each have for areas that touch our hearts enables us to see the depth of the need. When we align our giving with our passion or desire to make things better, we are able to give without reservation.
People who have a deep passion for a certain field of charity can see the need completely, and come up with many very constructive ways of meeting the need. When you are passionate about a cause, you usually find that you wish you had more time to work toward improving it. The person who is involved in a charity from their heart is always thinking of ways to add to what they are already contributing.
Charity from the heart does not always mean that you will be volunteering with a certain organization. There are many ways you can be charitable in one on one situations.
If you enjoy exercising, and someone you know is not motivated in keeping up an exercise routine, befriend them and invite them to join you on your daily walk. You may just gain a really neat friend by reaching out and sharing what you have a passion for.
