Word Reaction

Kind words can change the lives of those around you in ways that you may never know. People come and go through our daily lives as quickly as sand in an hour glass. We may never know where they came from, where they are, or where they may be going. One thing we can know however is that what we say to them can make an everlasting impact on their lives.

I heard a gentleman tell a clerk at a store after she helped him pick up things he had dropped that he appreciated her. He did not leave it at "I appreciate your help". he said "I appreciate you". what an uplifting statement.

We rush through life with little thought of how we speak to others. Many times we flippantly say "Hi, how are you" but we never stop to hear the answer.

There are so many positive words we can use to brighten the day for those we meet on our journey. It takes no more time to speak pleasantly to others than it does to be indifferent ot condescending you may never be witness to how your spoken kindness affects others, but knowing that you have been gracious will definitely make you feel better.

Letting others know that we appreciate them can go a very long way in helping to make the journey they are on a much more pleasant experience. We can make very simple, kind statements that may give hope to the hopeless, or strength to the down trodden.
