There are as many ways we can make this journey through life easier for those around us that it is really a shame we are not opening ourselves up to the real joy of living.

When you do a little investigating, you can find an exact fit in a need that you can fill. Just being a good listener for a neighbor is one very easy way you can share your time to help relieve anxiety in someone else's life.

There are nursing homes. rehabilitation centers, jails, and medical centers everywhere that can use your time and whatever talents you can bring. They can use help in serving meals, cleaning, transportation, and entertainment as well as just having someone to visit with patients that may have no family visitors.

The massive diversity in our school systems now has opened an avenue of great need for many talents. You can be there in support of the teachers and staff, or you can become a mentor for the children, giving them some extra one on one help with their lessons.

When you earnestly look for an area where you can be of service to your fellowman, you will find the best fit for you and the greatest use of your talents. The joy you receive from knowing you have filled a need and made life easier for others is a joy that you must experience in order to understand how exciting it can be.
