Though the writer of this article is correct in stating that this is an awesome zoo, it is not located in Charlotte, North Carolina. The fabulous zoo is actually located in Asheboro, North Carolina, about a on hour drive from Charlotte, in Randolph County.
The zoo is filled with amazing animals that are housed in very realistic settings very similar to the way they would live in their natural habitats.
The tickets for the zoo are very reasonable, ranging from six to ten dollars for individuals. They have discounted rates for groups of fifteen or more.
Combo tickets can be purchased for general zoo admission for a day and two entertainment passes for the Carousel or Adventure 4=D theater.
