Not "Me" Charity

There are so very many ways we can be charitable to those around us without it costing us anything more than a small amount of our time.

If you just pay attention to people you cross paths with on a regular basis, I am sure you can always find a way to lend them a hand and help make life a little easier for them.

Many times you can be of help by just listening to the problem they are facing and offer alternatives you may know of that can be used to solve the problem. You may know people of expertise in the area they may be needing help that you can put them in touch with so they may be able to get the problem solved in a fair manner.

I may have my head in the sand, but I think we could improve our entire country if people could back off from their greed and try to be of more help to their fellowman.

Watching out for each other is not only a good way to improve the world around us, it is a great way to divert the attention on our own problems and most often makes them seem much smaller in comparison to the problems someone else is facing.

If people would just quit focusing on themselves and what they can get out of any situation, they could reach out to others in a helpful manner and possibly make the world a better place for all of us.
