This article really did not give me any significant information on postcards, so I did a little research to see if I could find any history about them.
I was not able to find any real history as to the origin of the postcard, but I did see some sites on the Internet that offer some very unique and original postcards.
Postcards of America offers a complete line of all fifty states in a virtual "Live at the Scene" postcard series.
The couple that makes these virtual cards are traveling the country and recording their trip to share with us through cyberspace. This is a great site for Geography classes to use.
