We have all been blessed with different gifts. The purpose of this, is so
that we can co-exist and help make life easier for each other.
I am sure that everyone has some area in their life that is either impossible for them to maneuver, or that they just do not like doing.
Dealing with numbers is my short fall. I get a major headache just balancing my check book. If I had a reliable person who could deal with the mathematical areas in my world, it would make my life much sweeter.
I am however, blessed with several gifts that I can use to make life easier for those around me. I am really good at talking with people and putting them at ease. I also have a skilled trade that I can use to take the load off of those around me. I am a house painter, and I know many people who despise this project. Therefore I have the opportunity to trade my skills out with my accountant friends, and we all reap the rewards.
There are so many projects that neighbors can switch off with each other in these tough economic times, that I think we as a society should adjust our lives, and return to the barter system. We can all join in and trade off the labor jobs in our own communities, and help make each others' life a little bit easier.
Connect with your neighbors, take inventory of the different talents in your area, and start helping each other.
