New Math, What Does it Mean and is it Effective?

Math has always been a troubling subject for me, especially the advanced concepts.

This is something that is used in every area of our lives in someway.

I do not think that we realize how very essential it is that we help our children learn all that they can about math concepts.

When my son was in high school and having difficulty with Algebra, I hired a tutor for him that instantly put his finger on and solved my son's problem. he told my son that he was simply over thinking the problem. When he got my son to learn the basic steps in calculating the math, my son went on to be an A student in the maths, even in college.
